Dorsey's highly precise comparator stands with a unique fine adjustment head. All models are recommended for use with the ultra high amplification indicators or other gaging devices of exacting sensitivity. However, they may also be used with any standard AGD dial or digital indicator with 3/8" mounting stems or a lug back can be adapted to the gage. All stands are recommended for use in manufacturing areas requiring high accuracy, such as inspection departments or grinding areas. In addition, E-1 stand rugged design makes it especially suited for production and shop floor areas. E-1 stand can also be set and sealed to prevent adjustment for long-run production.
