BG & BG-2 Bench Gages
BG Series bench gages are universal depth or flush pin gages used to check depths, lengths, face concentricity, or locations. They are used as a basic fixtures and nesting rests, and holding devices can be adapted and interchanged.
The BG Direct bench gage
The BG Direct bench gage utilizes various models of a dial or digital indicators. The indicator is protected from damage as it is enclosed beneath the gage itself. The bench gage rest plate is 3" x 5" hardened and ground steel which has a series of threaded holes. Special nesting rests or holding fixtures and clamps can be mounted to orient parts for measurement of specific dimensions.

The BG-2 bench gage
The BG-2 bench gage utilizes a right angle movement that offers substantial benefits. The indicator, in a protective housing, is mounted above the rest plate in a position that minimizes operator eye movement. The gaging mechanism is reversible, retractable, has a 3" range of measurement travel and .075" of gaging travel.

Customized bench gages are available upon request. Larger plates, fixtures or adapters can be designed for your specific applications.

Bench gages features

Bench gages retracting lever
The retracting lever makes possible positioning the part faster and more accurately. Its construction is so simple and it has a reversing action for gaging in any direction. The indicator is in position to be easly read and accessible and yet free from damage and obstruction.
Bench gages setting
Bench gages can be set to block masters for many standard applications. No fixturing or nests necessary. Special nests and fixtures are easily designed and applied.
