Small Bore Gage BST-2B

This versatile benchtop fixture utilizes a cast iron base, interchangeable rest plates and contact points which allows adaptation to suit many applications. Three standard contact sets and 2 standard rest plates are utilized to provide a measuring range of .080" to .91". For production applications, it is recommended that special contact points be designed slightly smaller than the minimum bore diameter of the part to be measured.

BST-2B Breakage
Have had the gage in use less than 2 weeks and the spring on the handle gave out. In an attempt to fix it, tried to take off the handle whose screw promptly broke. Why would you use one left hand thread bolt on this? why would you make the left hand thread bolt out of aluminum? Now i sit here with a broken gage and cant find any left hand thread bolts to fix the handle.
