LDR Series Large Diameter Gage Ultra Lightweight Frame With Reed Movement
The LDR Series large diameter gage uses a lightweight stainless steel tubular frame and a reed pantograph movement. This pantograph movement utilizes parallel reed springs to transfer motion and is well suited to production applications as dust, dirt, or coolant cannot harm or jam the mechanism.
LDR Features:
- Standard with part# 2DM125-05 .0005" graduation dial indicator
- Frictionless reed pantograph motion transfer with +/-.050" gaging travel
- Carbide rest surfaces are offset 2" to resist tipping
- Lightweight heat treated aerospace grade stainless steel tubing weighs only .817 lbs. per foot
- Contacts feature 1" vertical depth adjustment
- Carbide ball contacts
To order this large diameter gage, use the following sequence to specify the desired configuration (there is no need to specify configuration for standard items).
Gage Type - Frame Size - Contact Type
For example: LDR-12-CB-NI is a gage that measures 4.5 to 12", with carbide ball contacts and has no indicator.

LDB Series Large Diameter Gage Ultra Lightweight Frame With Ball Bushing Movement
LDB series large diameter gages use a lightweight stainless steel tubular frame and a precision ball bushing slide mechanism. This gage can be switched from ID to OD and is designed to be used where a full inch of gaging travel, or retraction, is desired.
LDB Series Features:
- Standard with part# 2DM1000-05 .0005" graduation dial indicator
- Carbide rest surfaces are offset 2" to resist tipping
- Full inch of gaging travel
- Gaging depth adjustable to 5"
- Precision cam-lock fine adjustment mechanism makes setting this large diameter gage fast and easy
- Gaging shafts can be inverted to accomodate disc contacts or perpendicular style contacts
- Carbide ball contacts

For gage without indicator, add "-NI" to the end of the part #.
