LDF Series ID/OD Fixed Frame
LDF series production gages utilize fixed frames which are more rigid, lighter and more compact than LDA series adjustable gages. LDF gages are built to order based on application requirements.

LDF Series Features:
- Standard with part# 2DM125-05 .0005" graduation dial indicator
- Indicator and housing rotate 360° for best viewing angle
- Rigid steel tubing with thermal isolation grips, reduces thermal expansion. Tube weighs only 1.165 lbs/foot
- Three point hardened steel rests
- 1" vertical gaging depth adjustment on head assembly is standard. 3", 4", or 5" is optional
- .100" gaging travel on live contact is standard. .025", .050", or .075" travel is optional
- Reference contact features .50" micrometer style fine adjustment which makes setting this gage fast and easy
How to order:
To order large diameter gages, use the following sequence to specify the desired configuration (there is no need to specify configuration for standard items).
Gage Type - Frame Size - Contact Type - Gaging Depth - Other Options
For example: LDF-18-CB-GD2-RR is a gage that measures 12-18", includes carbide ball contacts, has a 2" gaging depth and has roller rests.
Standard gaging depth range is 0-2". Optional gaging depth of 3", 4" or 5" is available. Specify GD3, GD4 or GD5 to the part # (and use SMVA setmaster).
Standard LDA frame clearance is 1.25". Contact us for a quotation if additional clearance is required.
To order roller rests, add "-RR" to the part #.
Standard gaging contact travel is .100. Optional travel of .025, .050 or .075. Specify GC025, GC050 or GC075 to the part #.
Straddle reference rest is used when the rest and check diameter interfere SRR for rest and extended contact.

For gage without indicator, add "-NI" to the end of the part.
