LBBS Series Ball Bushing Slide Mechanism

LBBS series large diameter gages use a precision ball bushing slide mechanism for applications where retraction is required beyond the range of the indicator. The movement is light, sensitive and accurate while free of any side play. Ideal for applications to bypass obstructions, inspect grooves, contours, recesses or retraction over the major diameter of a reverse taper. Models are available in fixed or adjustable frame designs.

How to order:

1. Select frame type: Fixed (LBBS-F) or adjustable (LBBS-A)
2. Select frame size range: (i.e.: within 24-30" range, add -30 to part #)
3. Select the contact required: -SP for steel pin, -CB for carbide ball, -SS for steel shovel or -cs for carbide shovel contacts
4. Select any rest configuration options: -RR for roller rests, -ESR for extended shovel rests, -SLR for spring loaded rests, -DDR for double depth rests or -SRR for straddle reference rest
5. Select the readout required: -01 for .001" graduation dial indicator, -05 for .0005" graduation indicator, -10 for .001" graduation indicator, -002mm for 0.002mm graduation dial indicator, -01mm for 0.01mm graduation dial indicator, -DI for digital indicator or -NI for no readout or indicator
6. Specify any frame clearance options (if other than standard dimensions): -FC150 for 1.5" clearance, -FC200 for 2" frame clearance, etc.
7. Specify gaging depth (if other than standard dimensions): -GD3 for 3" depth, etc.

For example: LBBS-A-18-CB-RR-01-FC100-GD2 specifies: Adjustable movement LBBS gage to check up to 18" in diameter, roller rests, carbide ball contacts, .0001" graduation dial indicator, 1" frame clearance and 1 - 2" gaging depth.
