Boring Bar Gage
The boring bar gage is similar to the C frame LDLT but features fixed hardened steel rests bolted directly to the frame. Gaging depth is limited to .500". It is ideally suited to measure axial face grooves or shallow bores at a fixed depth. The gage can be configured to either measure ID or OD and is designed per application.
Bar Gage Features:
- Ideally suited for boring applications
- Frame configuration can encircle the tool which would not require full retraction of the boring bar
- Optional ball or half ball contacts
- Checks diameter at controlled depth
- Gage rests on the face of part
