There are 5 optional styles that are designed especially for applications, where space restrictions or gaging positions are not suitable to the use of the style 1.

Style 2

Right angle style 2 is recommended for jog boring or jig grinding machine operations. It is designed to avoid disturbing the machine tool setup. Style 2 is also recommended for restricted areas or applications that might be hazardous to the operators hand.

Style 3

Vertical style 3 is recommended for vertical axis bore at eve level. It is the best choice for bench inspection applications. Gage is gripped below the indicator, offering convenient view of dial. Absence of handle above the indicator permits long "A-Depth" in short over-all length.

Style 4

Perpendicular style 4 is recommended for vertical axis bores below eye level. The upward facing of the dial makes it convenient to take readings from a standing position.

Style 5

Pistol grip style 5 is designed for those situations where the space in front of the bore opening is limited, perhaps by the tool turret on a machine.

Style 7

Flush mount style 7 is designed for limited access applications. Flush mount style is available only for size 6 bore gages.
